Clinical Psychologist
I am a believer that no matter how long you have struggled, there is always hope.

I am a clinical psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. I work extensively with individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression, body-focused repetitive behaviours, and more.
I have completed intensive training in the treatment of OCD through the Behaviour Training Therapy Institute (BTTI) course at the International OCD Foundation, and a significant portion of my practice includes the assessment and treatment of a variety of OCD presentations. I have also completed training in the treatment of body-focused repetitive behaviours through the TLC's Virtual Professional Training Institute.

I provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder
I provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for OCD. I have completed extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD. I have significant experience treating many OCD presentations including harm, sexual obsessions, symmetry concerns, contamination, relationship obsessions, scrupulosity, health-related fears, and much more.

Support for anxiety
I provide treatment for a variety of anxiety presentations, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and specific phobias (e.g., fear of vomiting). I practice primarily from a cognitive-behavioural standpoint and have significant experience implementing CBT across many anxiety presentations.

What are your fees?
My fee per 50-minute session is $250. I have a limited number of sliding scale options available.
Is virtual therapy suitable for me?
Virtual therapy holds many benefits, including the convenience of staying home, which can often result in fewer cancellations and good therapy attendance. If it is determined that in-person treatment would be more suitable for you, this recommendation will be made for your benefit.
What age groups do you work with?
I work with individuals 18 years of age and older.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
Length of therapy depends on many different factors, including the severity of the concern(s), adherence to the treatment plan, and more. However, CBT is generally considered to be a relatively brief therapy.
What is CBT?
CBT is a structured, evidence-based intervention that helps people address their specific problems. CBT practitioners work in collaboration with their clients in setting specific goals, providing psychoeducation to help clients better understand their problems, and teaching clients skills and strategies to help them work towards achieving their goals.
01
Goal-Oriented
02
Time-Limited
CBT has a strong emphasis on setting specific goals and taking specific actions to help clients move towards achieving those goals.
CBT is a relatively brief therapy with most individuals noticing positive changes in anywhere from 8-20 sessions. It is important to note that this is a general timeframe and some issues may take more or less time.
03
Structured
04
Educational
CBT takes a structured approach to solving problems. Therapy sessions are focused, intentional, and build on the previous work that has been done in order to continue to make progress.
CBT therapists focus on teaching their clients about the nature of their problems so they can be better understood. With this enhanced understanding, people are better able to manage and work towards overcoming their problems.

Body-focused repetitive behaviours
I have completed training in evidence-based treatment of body-focused repetitive behaviours through the TLC's Virtual Professional Training Institute. I have experience using the ComB model to address concerns such as: excoriation disorder (skin picking), trichotillomania (hair pulling), lip biting, and cheek biting, and more.
Other areas of clinical focus
I also have experience supporting individuals struggling with perfectionism, depression, anger, relationship issues, and concerns related to self-esteem and body image.
Still thinking about therapy? My virtual-only sessions make it easy to get started and move forward.
I practice primarily from a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework. CBT is an evidence-based psychotherapy widely considered to be the gold standard for treating many mental health issues. CBT seeks to encourage clients to make small changes in how they think and behave to promote lasting and effective change. As a clinician, I seek to empower clients to manage current and future difficulties with autonomy.
